The WWE feud between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho didn’t exactly go the way WWE wanted, but there were some entertaining moments along the way. Dean hosted his own talk show segment known as The Ambrose Asylum meant to spoof Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel.

The set of Ambrose was quite lazy with the surprise breakout star of Mitch the Potted Plant. Ambrose naming the plant Mitch led to fans getting in on the joke by chanting for it. Jericho was unhappy about the comedy being involved in a serious feud and tried to get heat by breaking it over Ambrose’s head.
9 Tricking MJF Into Signing Contract
AEW has given Jon Moxley the chance to show more of his natural humor in important segments. Moxley’s feud with MJF for the AEW World Championship at All Out 2020 played a huge role in the younger star looking like a credible top name.
One humorous segment featured Moxley adding his own stipulations into the contract as a twist since the heel usually does that. Moxley added the stipulation of getting to fight MJF’s attorney in a hilarious reveal during the contract signing.
8 Psych Evaluation
Stephanie McMahon became an enemy of Dean Ambrose when his wacky antics started to upset her and impacted how she was running the show. Ambrose was forced to have a psych evaluation with a doctor in a few comedic segments backstage.
The word association with names of his hated rivals like Stephanie, Triple H and Seth Rollins provided fun moments. Ambrose then turned it around to have his doctor in the patient chair revealing all his secrets in a funny segment for the top star.
7 Filling Wagon With Weapons Week Before Brock Match
The WrestleMania 32 match of Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose was a huge disappointment. Ambrose has made it clear he felt Lesnar was lazy and didn’t want to put any effort into having a great match. However, that shouldn’t take away from the enjoyable moments of the build.
Ambrose was inspired by hardcore icons Mick Foley and Terry Funk throughout the weeks giving him the blessing to use some of their weapons. The go-home segment before WrestleMania featured Ambrose interrupting Brock’s promo only to fill his wagon with weapons then humorously walking back without even acknowledging his opponent.
6 Dressing Up As A Mountie
Shane McMahon attempting to ban Dean Ambrose from SmackDown to avoid getting revenge on AJ Styles turned into a hilarious segment. Daniel Bryan agreed to run the show by himself when Shane gave his order to Ambrose one more time.
The big reveal was Ambrose being dressed as a Mountie since the show was in Canada. A tremendous back and forth between Bryan and Ambrose ended with the latter quoting the old theme song of former WWE star The Mountie as Bryan put his hand over his face hiding laughter.
5 Doing Crotch Chops After Dive On Triple H
One of the strongest singles matches from Dean Ambrose’s WWE run featured him challenging Triple H for the WWE Championship at Roadblock 2016. Triple H retained, but Ambrose had a few strong moments to make WWE realize he was a main event player.

Outside of the intense in-ring action, Ambrose showed his character's side after a wild dive. The hilarious timing of delivering a crotch chop when both men were on the floor struggling to move received a huge pop for Ambrose.
4 Pretending To Be Camera Man To Attack Jericho
The art of the surprise can always be a funny moment for wrestlers and fans getting in on the joke together. Chris Jericho cut a promo running down Dean Ambrose from inside of a steel cage to set up their future Ambrose Asylum match.
However, fans loved every second of the ending when a cameraman put the camera down and removed a disguise. Ambrose was waiting for the right time to reveal himself before attacking Jericho with the cage door locked.
3 Tricking The Inner Circle Into Thinking He Joined
Another hilarious moment involving Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho came in AEW with a bit more importance. Jericho was the dominant AEW World Champion when attempting to recruit Moxley to his Inner Circle faction with the promise of extravagant gifts and money.
Moxley seemingly joined when uniting with Jericho to make him feel safe. The timing was impeccable when Moxley revealed he was just kidding before hitting Jericho with a bottle of champagne. Moxley was the hottest star in AEW after this segment and beat Jericho for the top title weeks later.
2 Officiating Match Between AJ Styles & James Ellsworth
WWE signing James Ellsworth to a contract landed him a role on SmackDown trying to earn a contract on-screen by challenging WWE Champion AJ Styles. Dean Ambrose was named the referee for one of their matches when he feuded with Styles and had reasons to hate him.
The moments of humor featured Ambrose accidentally tripping Styles, talking to fans, and doing just about everything to stop AJ from winning. Ambrose showed no hesitation when hitting Styles with the Dirty Deeds before counting the pin giving Ellsworth a contract with the blue brand.
1 Dumping Ice Water On Seth Rollins For Charity
Seth Rollins betraying Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to end The Shield is a moment no wrestling fan of the time will ever forget. Ambrose and Rollins entered a great feud for the rest of the year that featured various matches and moments as enemies.
The funniest came during the time of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge when people dumped ice cold water on themselves or others to raise awareness. Ambrose interrupted Rollins’ backstage promo by dumping the water on him and hilarious saying “it’s for charity” when Seth was livid.
