On October 3, Soaps in Depth reported on the Instagram pictures Annika Noelle posted, noting that she followed up on them in another story, stating, "I've had long hair most of my life, so it is an adjustment." This is a radical departure for her and seems to reflect her character, Hope Logan's, change. When Thomas apparently renounced his bad-boy ways and promised to stop obsessing over Hope, he was allowed to return as a designer to the family fashion company, Forrester Creations. This put him in close proximity with Hope as they worked together on her line called Hope for the Future, thereby setting up a chain of events that would affect not only Hope and Liam Spencer but also Steffy Forrester and John "Finn" Finnegan.
Since divorcing Liam and getting intimate with Thomas, Hope kept waffling on whether or not she wanted romance or just a dance between the sheets. Everyone's on edge because of Thomas' scheming, obsessive past, but this time, Hope was the one who initiated the change that's sure to have ripple effects for years to come. Noelle purposely posted photos on Instagram stories as a sneak peek before debuting her new look on the show. Thus, the change in her character is not only emotional but physical, and we're looking forward to how this new Hope approaches life — and hoping that this change lasts a little longer than most!
