Do you care about certain locations to hatch eggs (not about going through the egg cycle!)?

I forgot to mention this earlier, but a Pokemon's met location actually does affect gameplay to a small degree as well, because a Pokemon's friendship grows faster when it battles on its home turf. Amazingly, this feature was introduced way back in Pokemon Crystal! You could potentially use this to your advantage by hatching a Pokemon in a location you'll be training it a lot in. Pokemon Camp will also tell you that your Pokemon feels relaxed when you're in its met location, but I'm not sure whether this affects friendship at all.
