Based on the Japanese series: B-Fighter & B-Fighter Kabuto and it's American Adaptation. In the fictional town of Charterville, three kids/teens spend their time at a book store reading comic books/manga telling of the superheroes: The Beetleborgs. On a dare by some bullies, they enter a spooky mansion, until they freed and meet a phantasm named Flabber, who offers them a wish. Wishing to be the Beetleborgs themselves, Flabber accidentally releases the comic book's/manga's villains: the Magnavores into the real world.
