Iowa Car Accident: One dead, two injured in Jones County car accident.

On Friday, December 22, 2023, emergency personnel were called to the scene of a crash near Highway 151 and Shaw Road at around 6:48 in the morning.

According to investigators, a 2011 Ford F250 struck a 2014 Chevy Malibu that was turning onto Highway 151 Northbound from Shaw Rd.

According to officials, one person was killed in the crash, and two more were injured and transported to neighboring hospitals for treatment.

In order to give notice to the victim’s family, the victim’s name is currently being withheld.

Investigation is ongoing.
