y Jayme Lynn Evans knew she was destined to be an actor from a young age. Jayme Lynn’s parents, both computer analysts, were surprised to discover their shy and quiet daughter wanted to be an actor, until they saw her come to life onstage. After landing her first role as a bratty yet misunderstood rag doll in her 4th grade play, "The Misfit Toys," JLE became obsessed with theater and the craft of acting.

Fortunate enough to explore the musical side of the stage, performing in hits like "Annie" and "Little Shop of Horrors," it was the opportunity to portray Juliet in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" that really inspired her to explore the classics. Despite her young age, Jayme Lynn found herself appearing on stage as Katherine in "Taming of the Shrew" and the title role in Euripides’ "Medea."

Finally feeling her town didn't have enough acting to offer she begged her mom to start taking her to New York so she could audition for film and television. Shortly after signing with a well-respected New York agency, she booked a recurring role on the daytime drama “All My Children" playing a teen girl forced to choose between staying loyal to the "cool crowd" or becoming ostracized for befriending the "new girl" in school. JLE made her feature film debut in the independent film "Rock the Paint," which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

After arriving in Los Angeles, Jayme Lynn began studying with famed acting coach Joanne Baron, an experience that Jayme Lynn relishes and believes changed her outlook on the craft of acting. It was this training that allowed her to expand her performance horizon as she was given the opportunity to portray roles such as Molly in John Steinbeck’s “Moon is Dawn” and Joan Of Arc in “The Lark,” as well as Rose in William Mastrosimone’ s award winning play “The Woolgatherer.”

Just as she was finishing her final scene in D.W. Brown's Character Interpretation and Scene Analysis class, playing Cecily in "The Importance of Being Earnest," she began the auditioning process for "Change of Plans." Five auditions later and mere weeks after her graduation ceremony, her agents and manager called to inform her she had landed the role of Jordan. A week later she was on a plane to Toronto, Canada to begin filming.

Upon completion of “Change of Plans” Jayme Lynn headed back to Los Angeles, taking her career for a comedic turn. She shot a guest spot on Nickelodeon’s “Big Time Rush,” playing Sandy, a crazed fan, and then went on to test for a series regular role on an MTV comedy pilot.

When JLE isn’t filming she enjoys playing scrabble with friends, dancing around her apartment to 80’s music, and hiking. She also has a great love for everything Disney, and secretly dreams of being the voice of a Disney princess someday. Oh, and she’s obsessed with the NY Giants.
