Lizzy Caplan is joining Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard in Robert Zemeckis‘ untitled period spy thriller, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The pic is from Paramount, GK Films and New Regency. Steven Knight wrote the screenplay for the WWII-era film, which is set in 1942 and follows a spy (Pitt) who falls in love and marries a French agent (Cotillard) during a dangerous North African mission. Caplan will play Pitt’s sister.
Graham King and Zemeckis will produce the project alongside Steve Starkey, with Knight, Jack Rapke, Patrick McCormick and Denis O’Sullivan acting as executive producers.
Caplan, who stars on Showtime’s Masters of Sex and whose film credits include The Interview and 127 Hours, will also appear in the upcoming release Now You See Me 2. She is repped by WME, Rise Management and Jackoway Tyerman.
