Magic and Supernatural Powers: Same or different?

After thinking about this for a couple hours, i came to the conclusion that in the medias, at least as far as i know, "magic" is portrayed like something that comes from this world, or the world of the said media. The magic is part of their history, their culture, the people of that world holds bonds with it and "magic" is a type of power that can be explained with the natural laws, the "physics" of that world
Alternatively, "supernatural", as the name suggests, is something that doesn't come from that world, like, you have the make some contract with unknown entities to access that power and cannot be fully comprehended by the mind
