Many politicians have enjoyed long-lasting relationships. Enter Joyce Craig and her husband, Michael Craig, who have known each other for most of their lives. As noted by Business NH Magazine, they've known each other since the fourth grade. "We were friends forever," Joyce told the outlet. "We went to senior prom together and dated off and on."
Craig credits her loving husband with helping her become mayor, saying that he "knocked on more doors than anyone." His hard work not only helped her win the election but also helped Craig make history when, in 2017, she was elected as the first-ever female mayor of Manchester, N.H.
Craig's husband supported his wife while also managing his own successful career. Michael is an attorney and a founding partner of the law firm Craig & Gatzoulis. Previously, he was a state prosecutor. Per Craig's official website, they have three children together, William, Sarah, and Kathryn.
