Texas Chain Saw Massacre is introducing a single-player mode in an upcoming update.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre might be known as an asymmetrical title, but developers have stated that they're planning on adding a single-player mode in the near future. The mode is "currently being developed," Gun Media announced during a FAQ live stream, and will likely be coming very soon.
They did not provide more details about what that single-player game mode in Texas Chain Saw Massacre might look like, but we have some ideas. It could be similar to Dead by Daylight's "single-player mode" (in customs), which essentially involves joining a lobby full of bots and playing out a trial. In Dead by Daylight, players aren't able to earn rewards in this game mode; it's unknown whether that'll be the case in Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Alternatively, the single-player mode could be a totally different experience, switching up gameplay in order to suit solo players. After all, while it's possible, creating bots for a single-player mode would require developers to create AI to simulate both Family Member and Victim gameplay.
The new single-player mode will join the game alongside other major updates, including the ability to start a match without Leatherface and the ability to level up above level 99. In addition to the leveling changes, players will also be able to gain rewards upon leveling up.
In today's gun interactive live, the following things were announced:
-More levels than 99 will be added soon, and as you level up, you will get rewards.
-Leatherface will not be mandatory to start a game
-A single player mode is being actively developed, we could see it soon

Considering developers have stated that the single-player mode for Texas Chain Saw Massacre is already in the works, it's likely that we won't have to wait long to see it in the game. For now, players can hop into a game with four other players.
