16 Kansas City Chiefs: Skyy Moore

The Kansas City Chiefs lost Tyreek Hill and gained Juju Smith-Schuster in one of the most exciting offseasons that the team has seen in a long time. In order to bolster their wide receiver corps, the team took Skyy Moore in the second round.
In college, Moore was a fantastic receiver who was a great route runner and had great speed. With Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Travis Kelce all taking attention off the rookie, watch the second-round pick go off this year alongside Patrick Mahomes.
15 Las Vegas Raiders: Nate Hobbs

The Las Vegas Raiders are coming off their best season in a long time. In order to bolster their offense, they went out and got one of the best wide receivers in the league, by trading for Devante Adams from the Green Bay Packers.
However, the breakout player won't come from the offense, but from the defense. Nate Hobbs is coming off a tremendous rookie season that saw him be named to the PFF All-Rookie Team. If he can stay out of trouble, the cornerback will continue to improve.
14 Denver Broncos: Jerry Jeudy

Jerry Jeudy is heading into his third season as a member of the Denver Broncos. After a solid rookie season, his sophomore season saw him hit a slump, mostly due to injuries and inconsistent play. However, Jeudy will take a big step in his third year.
Jeudy has had his own issues, but he's also dealt with terrible quarterback play. With the team finally getting a solid quarterback in Russell Wilson, expect the wideout to have a career year in 2022.
13 Los Angeles Chargers: Asante Samuel Jr.
Another offseason, another load of hype for the Los Angeles Chargers. The team is expected to be a big contender this year, as they've acquired many key trades and free agents. However, the breakout player won't be a new acquisition.

Asante Samuel Jr. is coming off a tremendous rookie season. Already one of the Chargers' best defensive pieces, expect to hear a lot more about the cornerback this year.
12 Buffalo Bills: Gabriel Davis

The Buffalo Bills' season didn't end the way they liked last year, as they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in one of the greatest playoff games ever. However, a shining moment in the defeat was a wide receiver, Gabriel Davis, who had four touchdowns in the game.
The third-year wideout has clearly improved, and it showed in the playoffs last year. While he's mostly been out of the limelight for most of the first two years, expect him to become a star for the Bills this year.
11 Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa

The Miami Dolphins have hope for the first time in a long time. After trading for Tyreek Hill, and getting offensive guru Mike McDaniel as head coach, they have a core, that if everything goes well, could play well for a long time.
At the front of that core is quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. While he's had mixed success in his first two seasons, with the weapons at his disposal now, he will showcase his full potential.
10 New York Jets: Zach Wilson
Zach Wilson didn't have a great rookie year. In addition to suffering injuries and having more turnovers than touchdowns, it wasn't a great first outing for the 2021 second-overall pick. However, he showed improvement down the stretch.
That improvement will show in spades in his sophomore season. Wilson has a full season under his belt and has more weapons to work with. His big arm and ability to learn will have his breakout in 2022.
9 New England Patriots: Rhamondre Stevenson

The New England Patriots only three years into their post-Tom Brady rebuild era, are already far better than many fans would've expected. Led by young quarterback Mac Jones, the team shockingly made the playoffs last year.
As a whole, the team will continue to improve, but nobody will take a bigger step than Rhamondre Stevenson. He had a solid rookie season whenever given the ball, and will likely take a big step forward in his second season.
8 Pittsburgh Steelers: George Pickens

The Pittsburgh Steelers are now in the first year post-Ben Roethlisberger. For the quarterback competition, they're having former Pro-Bowler Mitchell Trubisky and first-round pick Kenny Pickett battle it out.
Regardless of who hits the field, they're going to have a great weapon in George Pickens to use. The receiver was taken in the second round and is extremely explosive. Expect him to have a great first year in Ohio.
7 Cleveland Browns: Anthony Schwartz

The Cleveland Browns are hoping to make the Super Bowl in the near future. They've gone all-in on winning now, as they acquired multiple weapons, none bigger than quarterback Deshaun Watson, who they're hoping will have a big impact after he serves his six-game suspension.
Most of the Browns big names are proven, players. With that, there are not many players that will get the chance to break out. However, one name to watch is wide receiver, Anthony Schwartz. A former sprinter, he was drafted last season as a backup player and had an okay year. Expect him to take a huge step with Watson at QB.
6 Cincinnati Bengals: Joseph Ossai

The Cincinnati Bengals took a huge step last season, and it was one nobody saw coming. While they didn't complete the Cinderella run, they did make the Super Bowl and were a few plays away from winning.
Incredibly, they did it all without third-round pick Joseph Ossai, the defensive end who missed the entire season with an injury. A former dominant player in college, expect him to make a huge impact in his first season playing.
5 Baltimore Ravens: Rashod Bateman
The Baltimore Ravens are headed for a bit of a weird season. After a disappointing last year, they've now lost Marquise Brown, and are currently dealing with Lamar Jackson's current contract situation.

In the midst of all the chaos, expect wide receiver Rashod Bateman to breakout. He had a solid rookie season last year despite the rough squad around him, and he'll now take a big step up this year as the number one option.
4 Indianapolis Colts: Kwity Paye

The Indianapolis Colts are another team that is in win-now mode. They went out and traded former NFL MVP Matt Ryan, as they're hoping that he can be the one to finally lead them to the promised land.
Regardless of Super Bowl hopes, Kwity Paye will become a star on the defensive side of the ball. The 2021 first-round pick had a great first season and is only going to improve. Expect to hear a lot more about the 23-year-old this year.
3 Houston Texans: Davis Mills
Simply put, the Houston Texans were a dumpster fire last year. However, in the midst of a terrible team, was quarterback Davis Mills. In spite of the terrible squad around him, he had a solid rookie year.
Mills will continue to improve in his sophomore season. With a stable team and more weapons around him, the quarterback will fully break out and get on fans' radar in 2022.
2 Tennessee Titans: Kristian Fulton

Kristian Fulton is headed into his third season in the NFL as a member of the Tennessee Titans. A second-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft, he's taken big steps in each of his two seasons in the league thus far.
Expect his improvement to continue in his third season. Already one of the best cornerbacks on the squad, expect him to become a leader of the defense in the 2022 NFL season.
1 Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence
There's not a single quarterback who could've succeeded in the Jacksonville Jaguars situation last year. Led by a terrible, distracted head coach in Urban Meyer, and surrounded by a lack of talent, Trevor Lawrence's rookie season was doomed from day one.
His second season will see him play as originally expected. They've gone out and gotten former Super Bowl-winning coach Doug Pederson, and weapons like Christian Kirk. With nothing holding him back, Lawrence will break out in year two.
