Ariana Grande released her first perfume, Ari Eau de Parfum by Ariana Grande, in 2015. The gourmand and floral-inspired fragrance has a variety of fruit scents, flowers, and even marshmallows as a part of its aroma (per Ulta). Pop stars have launched fragrance brands before, but diving into the world of perfume seemed personal to Grande. "I'm asked so often about which fragrance I'm wearing, or if I have a signature scent. I do have favorites, but I really want to create something that encompasses everything I love," she said in a 2015 interview with Women's Wear Daily.
Grande partnered with Luxe Brands, making her the company's first celebrity fragrance, according to the brand. It proved to be a successful partnership. The perfume held its own amongst the cascade of celebrity fragrance lines. With its affordable price of around $45 and beautiful rose crystal-like design, Ari was a successful first step into the world of beauty.
