I'm now back in this topic with my decision to estimate the entire "Trainers in Sinnoh walk on average # kilometers from Twinleaf Town on their quests to earn all Sinnoh League badges" thing, again with the help of Google Maps directions:

• Twinleaf Town > Oreburgh City: 140 kilometers (estimate derived from Noboribetsu-Yubari driving directions)
• Oreburgh City > Eterna City: 136 kilometers (estimate derived from Yubari-Asahikawa driving directions)
• Eterna City > Veilstone City: 198 kilometers (estimate derived from Asahikawa-Abashiri driving directions)
• Veilstone City > Pastoria City: 148 kilometers (estimate derived from Abashiri-Kushiro driving directions)
• Pastoria City > Hearthome City: 122 kilometers (estimate derived from Kushiro-Obihiro driving directions)
• Hearthome City > Canalave City: 232 kilometers (estimate derived from Obihiro-Otaru driving directions)
• Canalave City > Snowpoint City: 362 kilometers (estimate derived from Otaru-Wakkanai driving directions)
• Snowpoint City > Sunyshore City: 483 kilometers (estimate derived from Wakkanai-Nemuro driving directions)

Upon combining all my estimates above into one, I'll just say this: "Trainers in Sinnoh walk on average 1,821 kilometers on their quests to earn all Sinnoh League badges."

Now that I think about it, though, I've also decided to estimate the entire "Trainers in Galar walk on average # miles (# kilometers) from Postwick on their quests to earn all Galar League badges and participate in the Champion Cup in Wyndon" thing with the help of Google Maps directions (again):

• Turffield > Hulbury: 101 miles (estimate derived from York-Liverpool driving directions)

• Motostoke > Stow-on-Side: 28.4 miles (estimate derived from Manchester-Buxton driving directions)
• Stow-on-Side > Ballonlea: 92 miles (estimate derived from Buxton-Stratford upon Avon driving directions)
• Ballonlea > Circhester: 84.6 miles (estimate derived from Stratford upon Avon-Bath driving directions)
• Circhester > Spikemuth: 227 miles (estimate derived from Bath-Llandudno driving directions)
• Spikemuth > Hammerlocke: 121 miles (estimate derived from Llandudno-Birmigham driving directions)

Upon combining all my estimates above into one, I'll say this as my final estimation: "Trainers in Unova walk on average 54.8 miles (approx. 88.2 kilometers) from Nuvema Town on their quests to earn all Unova League badges and face the Elite Four + Champion at the Pokemon League building." (I guess my estimate of 54.8 miles could make Unova the smallest core series region, after all...)

Now I'll estimate this thing: "Trainers in Kalos walk on average # kilometers from Vaniville Town on their quests to earn all Kalos League badges, face the Elite Four + Champion at the Pokemon League building, and battle at the Battle Chateau." This time, I'm using the help Google Maps directions (again) to make my estimates below:

• Vaniville Town > Santalune City: 237 kilometers (estimate derived from Moulins > Fontainebleau driving directions)
• Santalune City > Cyllage City: 462 kilometers (estimate derived from Fontainebleau > Saint-Nazaire driving directions)
• Cyllage City > Shalour City: 197 kilometers (estimate derived from Saint-Nazaire > Saint-Malo driving directions)
• Shalour City > Coumarine City: 264 kilometers (estimate derived from Saint-Malo > Le Havre driving directions)

Once I combine all those estimates above into one, I'll get an estimate on the size of the Kalos region with this: "Trainers in Kalos walk on average 2,940 kilometers from Vaniville Town on their quests to earn all Kalos League badges, face the Elite Four + Champion at the Pokemon League building, and battle at the Battle Chateau."

That's all I'm estimating for now. I'll do the same things as above with the Hoenn and Alola regions later.
