Shane Codd has been a caddie on the LET since 2004 and he is now on the bag with Solheim Cup star Madelene Sagstrom.
The Swede is one the most recognisable players in European women's golf, with an LPGA Tour win in 2020, as well as two Solheim Cup appearances for Europe.
Sagstrom has previously had her partner, Jack Clarke on the bag, as well as David Buhai, who is married to LPGA Tour player Ashleigh Buhai.
Now, Sagstrom is working with Codd, who himself is married to former Tour player Rebecca Codd nee Coakley. The couple, who got married in January 2020, both come from Ireland and celebrated with a wedding breakfast at Castle Durrow.
Codd has headed the Caddies Association on the Ladies European Tour having previously been an assistant professional at Rosslare in Wexford.
He has previously caddied for the likes of Becky Brewerton and Caroline Masson and he has worked at two Olympics; with Mariajo Uribe of Colombia in Rio and then with Sagstrom in Tokyo.
He also caddied for Dame Laura Davies when she won the Hero Honda Women’s Indian Open in New Delhi in 2010.
Since working with the Swede, the pair have had some great results, with the highlight being a tied runner-up finish at the Women's Open at Carnoustie in 2021.
