If there is any doubt as to whether or not a field belongs in the Checkpoint Area, include it anyway. QUICKSTART saves up to 32,000 bytes of Working Storage in one I/O during a checkpoint operation, so it is unlikely that adding a few extra fields to the Checkpoint Area will cause additional overhead. QUICKSTART can save virtually any size Working Storage.
